Had a Moorish Idol in a 150g mixed Reef with Yellow Tang, Convict Tang, Yellow Eye Kole , and Powder Blue. Had it for about 4 years with 2 large Maxima Clams.
No issues in picking at corals (Fed 3 times a day) for a few years until family went on a trip, Moorish Idol decided it was time to sneak in a bite of the clam mantle and the clam closed smashing the mouth of the Idol... Both shortly perished afterwards. Moral of the story, no clams LOL
