Interesting concept but I wonder how effective these units would be if the ambient room temperature is high. From the cost of these units ($695-$1995) I think a regular chiller would be a better purchase.
Peltier coolers are compact but horribly inefficient. Not sure how much compared to a chiller though. The technologie applied to aquariums isn't new, but at least this company makes it look prettier than the cold finger
