Curing Live Rock?

Fish really like cover at times which simulates reefs! Its nice to have nice dark areas that light doesn’t really go however then ur sacrificing coral real estate but low light stuff takes over eventually like sponges/ tunicates/ shrimps etc..

I bought a second brute so I can just move all the rock over effectively doing a 100% water change. That way I can also leave behind all the debris. Dang I didn’t realize how yellow the water was until I saw it under lighting! No wonder nutrients are sky high! Somehow it doesn’t really have a bad smell.

Looks like someone couldn't hold it. Is that the special 40lbs live rock you bought or the existing rock?
It’s the same 60lbs I’ve been curing for 2 weeks. Just moved it over to a new brute to basically do a water change and see how much more leaches out of it. Didn’t want to leave it in the nasty water lol. The 40lbs of live rock from Salty Bottom I pushed back to Thursday. They reached out and said they can send it out Tuesday but it wouldn’t get there early enough so I’d have to pick it up Wednesday which I wasn’t happy about leaving the rock in the packaging so long. So they said they could ship it really early Thursday morning for Thursday evening pickup
