Fish really like cover at times which simulates reefs! Its nice to have nice dark areas that light doesn’t really go however then ur sacrificing coral real estate but low light stuff takes over eventually like sponges/ tunicates/ shrimps etc..
It’s the same 60lbs I’ve been curing for 2 weeks. Just moved it over to a new brute to basically do a water change and see how much more leaches out of it. Didn’t want to leave it in the nasty water lol. The 40lbs of live rock from Salty Bottom I pushed back to Thursday. They reached out and said they can send it out Tuesday but it wouldn’t get there early enough so I’d have to pick it up Wednesday which I wasn’t happy about leaving the rock in the packaging so long. So they said they could ship it really early Thursday morning for Thursday evening pickupLooks like someone couldn't hold it. Is that the special 40lbs live rock you bought or the existing rock?
Cool, let me know how the live rock helps out, i'm intrested in the results. I hate the rock in that tank has Palythoas rock has to be pretty dang old it's a bummer that i will have to nuke it.It’s the same 60lbs I’ve been curing for 2 weeks.
