Would anyone by any chance know where I can have an STL file made for 3D printing?

Ive had the week off and intended to design a bio brick holder with TinkerCad, but quickly realized that CAD designing is like a while new hobby in itself and would rather pay to have this done, as it would take me forever to get it right.

Im currently using a napkin style bio brick holder in the return area of my sump, bit find that detritus tends to collect on top of the bricks, clogging them up as it can't be easily blown off. I wanted to design something like the SeaDreams bio enclosures. SeaDreams uses foam biomedia and wouldn't design a smaller one to fit another product. Polyplab has an enclosure available, but it is to large for my sump. Im looking for one that would fit 2 biobricks in there snugly and have a slit on top for some flow.

If anyone on here could create a file, id gladly throw some cash your way or if you know of any leads to someone who would do it, it would be appreciated.

I am a skilled hobbyist at CAD but I can also jump on a zoom call and guide you through it, especially if you get a free personal license for Fusion 360 set up.

I'd rather teach then design off of your measurements, that way you can make adjustments on your own.

I have loads of cad knowledge but little time. I could try to walk you through the process over the phone if you like. Both would teach you some basic cad and get it done locally for cheap.

Thanks guys. I'll play with Fusion 360 for a little and familiarize myself with it before hitting you guys up on this.

Why doesn't the enclosure trap more detritus on the blocks than without the enclosure?
In my setup the blocks are placed in the first sump chamber, where the water flows from overhead its placement, making the top of the blocks the highest prone to exposure.

Given the rough surface of the blocks and their porosity, blowing detritus off with a turkey batter does next to nothing in removing the settled detritus. By having an enclosure, the idea is to create an environment where water can still flow, albeit restricted, yet have a smooth top that can be blown clean and not clog up the blocks.

The rest of the sump is way too cramped to fit more blocks, and areas where there is room, already houses them, so this is one of the few areas I can squeeze them in, despite the less than ideal flow considerations. I have around 12 or 13 in my system, 10 of which are located in the sump and 2 or 3 buried in my sandbed somewhere.

I love the setup you've got here! Is that simpler but not as elegant solution to go with a design like that napkin holder and just put a platform on it? It'd be relatively straightforward to design a rectangle with some cutouts that could slot onto the napkin holder, which looks like it's working very well already.

This only gets complicated if you are trying to build the locking in sides. Without that you should be able to design it semi straightforwardly.

My main suggestion as you play with fusion 360 is design with the 2d sketches and then extrude or modify based on them. Don't try and do it like sketchup or tinkercad where you primarily do 3d shape unions/subtractions. Fusion 360 is all about the sketch.

I didnt think about adding to the one I already have, but now that you mention it, it would be fairly easy.

THIS is why you can't break your tank down. We need you on here! Lol

Meta AI can help you generate the code and export STI files . You just simply send the picture .
AI is freaking amazing. Im going to give it a shot lol.
