DBTC Etiquette for duplicate corals

I was curious about the etiquette for sharing corals on DBTC that already have a post. Is it preferred to make a new post? Or can/should you join an existing listing if you are offering the same coral?

Make a new post unless you know for a fact that coral is from the same lineage.

If you just want to share coral then just make a post in pay it forward. Most members make the stipulation that it's for supporting members only, but that's up to you. DBTC is a great program but a lot of people never finish the links so it kind of just dies off.

Even if it is the same coral, if you did not get it as part of the that particular DBTC start a new chain.
