Just an update, think I had this shroom in too high of par, I noticed it started to disintegrate in the center, moved it into a bit of shade, it recovered and split into 4 pieces, the largest piece is almost as big as the original now.

I think mine did the same thing. I shocked it with lighting accidentally and it turned into 3
