Charles, i hear the same thing with other people, the are orange but the base wont turn purple. Is that whats your experiencing?

Pretty much.

I have it in a few places. The best is not there yet, but you can see the potential. It is under right under my actinic bulb (T5) and not getiing as much light from the other blubs, with a Koralia about 6 inches away. I'd really like to see someone color it up.

If we can't talk Ed into taking it. I can put it up high under my 400w Radiums and see what it does.
