Dead Snail? or something else?

I believe this is a dead Turbo snail, since it was near the shell. Maybe a cleaner shrimp or something pulled it out of the shell? Looked like clumps of white at first, but it looks like one long snot, and reeks like hell. Or maybe it's something else?

haha naw i just tossed it into the trash can and it landed on the cup... and then I wanted to take a photo so there it was. Yea, it smells nastier than it looks.
