I have the BRS dual DI filter. Replaced the resin today and i cannot seem to get the RO to work well with the DI. I have an RO system with build in pump. With the DI filter install inline, the pump now cycling on and off. Wthout the DI, the pump runs fine, ON when water is turn on and OFF when water turn off. With DI , when water turn on, the pump is pulsating ON/OFF every few seconds.

I suspect the DI add too much resistance? It was working fine for 6+ months with the original DI filter. I just replaced the resin and now only seeing the problem

I did overpack/underpack the resin? What could be possibly go wrong?

Looking for idea where to start.
 
Did you happen to disconnect any of the water lines and they got reversed or clogged with something? Do you have a membrane flush kit and the valve got turned? Does your system have a pressure gauge? If so, are you seeing any change there?
 
I solved the problem. I remove the resin cartridge and the cover which hold the resin is tad loose. tighten it and its all good. The pump working normally now!
