What are you talking? 5 10 %?
My tank is a 20 aio

The limit is usually based on the water change.
You do not want huge water changes because that can cause wide swings in chemistry. Corals do no like change all that much.
So for a 20 gallon system, maybe 2.5 gallons (half a bucket) every day at most.
