Did anyone go see the torch today?

I got to leave work early for a Dr's appointment. Watched it on tv. Felt like I was watching the OJ White Bronco all over again. I am so glad my tax dollars went to support this.

My friend was there taking pictures.
I heard all about the torch on the news radio station while I was driving back from calm Mount Diablo =) They called it the Houdini torch at one point, LOL.
I think all the trouble was SO not worth it =( Just cancel the damn thing.

Did they actually run? Only thing I saw when I got home was some "Breaking News" on KTVU where they showed the caravan going to the airport and how everyone at the Embarcadaro were waiting for it to show up. However at the last place apparently the Chinese consulate hand picked who could be there, so meh... on one side IMO protesters are really picking the wrong thing to protest, on the other hand the countries use this as a way to push their policy forward.

Yeah.. he was like 15' from where I stand. Funny thing part is there were no cop any all in that area. Thousand of people and no cop for several blocks. I knew something is not right so I started walking to the Ballpark. I was hoping to see the torch there but no .. Oh another crappy part is that is a dude instead of a chick ;D ..
