here are a couple of pictures a friend of my parents. He was the president of the bay area carnivorous plants club.
These are his more "common" plants, (he keeps the real exotics inside)
sorry that the colors are bad, I had the camera in manual mode and that is set for tank lights :)

I'm a lucky guy the g/f loves my addictions which encompass plants of the caudiciform variety.

Nice stuff BTW, I lost my carnivorous plants when I moved to Montara years ago, they just don't like it here, inside or out :(
 
a few more pictures, The guy is super cool. It's a lot of fun talking with him because while very different there are some aspects of our hoobies that are very similar.
btw Rich, he does work at the academy for the botanists. he told me he knows Matt well enough. FYI.
