2 years ago. My buddy Erin @Kensington Reefer asked me to help him fix his aquarium. I was in the middle of my big aquarium build at that time. He said No Rush. What ??? Oh I’m slow motion then. Well. It’s finally his turn. Even tho a few people cut in front of him. He never complained. So here it is. The OG of the OG’s.
This is where it sat for years and years. Its earth almost ate it up. Lol.

Decided on an over flow. Never throw these puppies out. They come in handy.

Cleaning and cleaning. Errrrrr Hey there’s 2 seams blown out ………..

Never throw away old acrylic aquariums. They can always be repurposed. I hate cutting acrylic.

Finally. It’s fairly clean. It’s gotta suntan for a while to dry out them seams before bonding.

I sweep them up and put them in the garbage. I was going to take a picture of all the shavings too. But I was like. Eh no one cares.

Don’t mind the water on the floor or under the aquarium. The hose fell out when I was filling it. Got everything all wet. Gonna leave it for a few days then back to Erin’s house.

Btw. You see that black aquarium stand in the background. My dad made it by hand in the 70’s. He was a way better craftsman than I. Pretty cool.

Looks awesome, oddly seeing the height of it, I'm getting visions of grocery store lobster tanks I use to see as a kid. Eager to see what Erin does with it.
