Donate for tax writeoff

I posted in buy/sell/trade about getting a tank up in my classroom, always happy to take donations! If you can figure out justifying it on the tax side of things, I can sign off on it as a classroom teacher!

Eric knows I’ve been agitating for it with the Board but it seems like it might be a lot of effort and hasn’t found a champion yet

It has been looked into extensively in the past by long time treasurer mike ray. It was way more time effort and money than it was worth, and the communication (mainly lack thereof) from the necessary government entities was extremely difficult.

Just sale them and get the money to donate to where ever you want.
