Easy open RO canisters

+1. Only supposed to hand tight. Maybe 1/8 of a turn after. If you need to crank down on it to stop it leaking, your o ring needs to be replaced.

I dunno even if I hand tighten I find there just isn't enough to trip on a loose canister to overcome the static friction.

Perhaps I will just machine a handle for the top of the canister to make it easier to grip.

My rodi is sitting on the counter top for now. But I just need to use the wrench, 1 hand to hold it steady and a little force to pop them open.

I've got inflammatory arthritis in my hands. Lol. I need more than just the canister top.

Ahhh. My dad has rheumatoid arthritis. He can barely move his fingers. I understand your difficulty. Are you able to manipulate a pipe wrench along with the RO wrench? My unit has some flat sections on it that I think I could probably get a wrench on.

That's a good idea. I'll give that a try when I'm back from vacation. Sometimes the easiest solutions are the best. Lol..
