EcoTech Vortech Pumps: any advice?

I ponied up for an MP10es W the other day and installed it in the middle of one of the side panes on my 40 breeder. The tank is made by aqueon, i've had it running for a month or so, and its solid.

I installed the pump correctly, all aligned and everything, but even so it makes a fairly audible whirring sound especially at mid/high levels, and the interior part has some vibration (no worse than a korallia). Again, the pump is alight spot on, and I am using the spacer per the instructions.

My question is how safe are these pumps? Will the small vibration cause any dammage to the silicone seals or the glass? I'm sure im probably over-thinking this..but any advice helps :)

Thanks!

Thanks! Ya, I played around with it untill its at it's quietest. I was just worried about the vibration directly on the glass for the wet side, unlike the Korallia's that are more isolated due to how they mount.

Did you try putting it on full blast and messing with the placement? I find that that's the best way to get it at its quietest. Then you can tone it up and down as you please.

I encourage you to go see other MP10s on other tanks,LFS or elsewhere, and you can better tell if our vibration amount is typical. If so, then you have nothing to worry about, if your vibration is more than others then something is wrong.
