I recently had to upgrade my electric lines at home. My previous contractors electrician left one hell of a mess in a subpanel that controls half of my house.
While I know how to change a socket or switch, I leave the heavy stuff like circuits and panels to licensed electricians.
For those who havnt seen my build thread, this is what was found when removing the old panel to add a 15 amp circuit:
I was referred to Volt Techs INC. Out of San Jose. I gave Jose a call and he was at my house the same day for a diagnosis and a quote.
He pointed out all that was wrong and walked me through options in making things safe.
This is his work and how it turned out after:
He was able to eliminate the junction box and clean everything up. Even patched up the wall when all was finished.
While that helped as a whole house solution, my tank was lit and running while he worked on our new subpanel. It became a conversation piece and I told him that I may have some friends that need electric work done.
For us reefers, we all know how important power is to our setups and how much of a load a full setup can put on a home.
Jose mentioned that for any reefers looking to add a separate, dedicated, circuit (15 or 20 amp), add new plugs, run electrical lines, etc., he'd do so at a special rate for us.
I normally am very cautious about referring people that do work for me, because when things go south my name is on the line. Jose offers a 5 year warranty on all of his work and is a legit licensed electrician, so it gives me peace of mind in putting this out there.
They also offer services for solar and EV charging if needed.
For anyone interested this is his contact info:

When calling, let him know that Patrick referred you and what you're looking to do. He'll take care of you.
Hope this helps anyone needing electrical upgrades.
