Electrical question

Well the fans u bought have 3 wires?
if the 3rd wire is yellow, then its a sensor wire to get fan rpm to the PC board

Simply get any DC transformer:
Hook up the Red wire to any (+) (usually has a white stripe)
Hook up the black wire to the (-)

Most pc fans will only work if u hook it up one way (poalirized)

U can run many fans off of one transformer, just as long as the amp rating is higher than the added up amps you will be pulling.
Voltage is completely independent.
If there to noisy, get a lower voltage transformer.
Radio shack sells a univrsial power cord, which has multiple ends, and can be dialed to multiple voltages. this is good so u can click it up or down to desired voltage.

Some fans have a minimum voltage they will spin at.
Some fans are 5 volt, others 12 volt

I picked up a 110v fan for my MH setup for $3 at Wierdstuff wherhouse!
(which is quieter than the 12vPC fan I was going to use )

My pico has 12v, 5v, and 110v power...lol
the reostats on the dials controll the LED intensity, and are switched on and off with a relay.
theres 4 temprature sensors. which monitor Ambient, MH exit air, Tank exit air, and tank water temprature. (A PC single bay fan controller unit)

Was really just showing u the pc parts I had shoe horned in to this setup.
Did u get the fans all situated, and working?

I only tested with one fan. It's pretty quiet. I haven't have time to cut the hole in the pendant yet. Hopefully have time today.
