Sorry but there is no "food class" or "pet class" when talking about turtles and frogs. Try again Anyone can go buy those and keep them as pets thus violating the law

I'm willing to bet that the ppl perposing this law do not consider inverts and corals to be animals

Yup but if not brought up, they'll be tossed under the bus. We've seen it numerous times like with the snail ban of which was supposed to be geared to only a few FW snails but was written poorly so US F&WS had to enforce the outright snail ban. Such stipulations have to be written in, otherwise all animals will be subject to the ban.
