Well for one if there is any leak you going to dump slot of the low PH into your tank.

Unit is water tight. Pump is a reg Sicce pump. Unless it leaks, shouldn't be an issue

I think you guys are worrying way too much for me. The access is not bad, my last tank was definitely worse and it was a traditional stand. One thing that isn't apparent from the picture is that the stand is about 42" tall.

FYI - Any CaRx can be submerged...as long as you set it up correctly.

I think a pH probe/controller can take care of that; pH drops to x number, controller shuts off reactor; with all those new fancy gadgets, you will get an alert even up in the ISS if something goes wrong.
