[Finnaddict]

Hello everyone. Been reefing for about 30 years. Current system has been up since 2005. Started out with halides and T5’s and in 2012 I had a huge Eunicid worm find its way into the sump and thru the return pump which completely crashed the tank. Fast forward to 2015 and I switched over to LED and slowly started rebuilding my reef. I had a little issue with Iodine deficiency last May which resulted in quite a few lost pieces. Everything stabled out around October I started stocking the tank again. Now for the details.

Circulation is a mix of 1-Ice Cap 3K, 3-Hydor Koralia 3rd Gen (On Red Sea Wavemaker) and a Jabao SLW

Display lighting is 3-Viparspectra 150W, 2-kessil 360WE, 2-Noopsyche K7 Pro II and 4-36” T5 Blue Plus ( 2 on the front and 2 on the back side by side).

No, the pumps kept working and chopping up the worm. I had 6 feet of worm blended into the system and turned it into a thick nasty brown soup that smelled great! Totally nuked the tank. I had been trying to remove him but he removed himself for me.

6 ft worm? That’s some nightmare fuel.

With so many chromis, how did you add them? One at a time, or all at once?

Total nightmare!
I added 6 and then another 6 a few months later. They weeded out the weak and settled on 10.

Do you rest the tongs on the side of the tank or something? anytime I try taking pictures like that its not focused cause my hands are each slightly shaking, maybe I just need to cut back in coffee lol
