Frag plugs locally

Did I mention the divet for a plastic toothpick? It makes the plug kinda look like a ash tray :) It's another feature for doing softies.

I'm basicly a wholesaler/distributer of them. I'd like for local stores to sell them, but with the holidays and all, I haven't gotten samples or proce lists out to anyone. Next week for sure.

They should hit the Reed Mariculture very website soon, but you'll have to pay shipping.

I have some of those plugs but I really don't like them. Unlike rubble and cemented disks created, I had a colony grow on one of those plugs. It was harder than hard trying to do a frag cutting plastic. Rather a rubble piece and disks are pretty easy. I would use them for xenia's or something on that line. Again this was my epxerience.... You can probably cut it easier, I was using bone shears.....

The new ones, or the ones from last summer? These just came out last month. But, they're cloe enough in the respect to the cradles thickness. The new legs are easily sheared though. They also come in translucent blue, but I don't have those yet.

Yah, those are the old style. The new ones have more features, less plastic and fit snugly into the eggcrate in one of the positions (sitting on the "cross"). They still are hard (thick) to cut, if you have encrusting corals, but the legs are thinner. They take up less room on eggcrate as well.
