I have a lot of rock from my old system available to anyone that wants it.
It’s been in a brute with a heater & flow since December. Dosed Dr Tims ammonia for a while, added some extra one & only, fed some pellets here & there etc.
I had vermiteds back in the day but from inspection I believe they’re all dead (thats why I used ammonia instead of food for about 4 months… keep bacteria alive but starve vermiteds).
The purple stuff is expoxy.. all algae has died off.
Free pickup in San Mateo. Bring a container. Take as much as you want. I have a 32g brute about 60% full. (you can take the whole brute with it if you have a truck)
