upgraded and got new sand

Not interested in it, but you might want to describe how deep the sand was in your tank (this will often dictate to how much "crap" is in it), also if you EVER had pests in the tank (aiptasia, majanos, red bugs, ich, etc)

I’ve always thrown my old sand away. Glad you bought new sand for your new tank

If you can hang onto it, let it dry, but some Portland cement and experiment with “aragocrete” structures!
