Green Emerald Crab apprix. 4 years old and vvery active at night. Needs s roock to hide under. Upgraded my tank and decided not to add him. He's in Martinez. I can deliver to Concord, Pleasant Hill or Martinez.

Never had an emerald with red eyes! Are it's claw tips rounded or sharp points?

Mithrax Ruber maybe? Related to the emerald crab (mithrax sculptus) and seems to be reef safe

Maybe Ferocious reef crab (Eriphia ferox)?
Or gorilla/mud crab ( Xanthidae family) may be very poisonous so handle with care fyi

While you should be careful, i believe you really only have to worry about ingesting them. They don't have a mechanism to deliver their toxin that they get from bacteria.

Guess you shouldn't deep fry it to get rid of it. Tried these in Japan, kinda good.

Thanks for the info. I didnt purchase him. It came in on live rock I purchased 4 years ago. It blended so well.

Guess you shouldn't deep fry it to get rid of it. Tried these in Japan, kinda good.
