Green Star Polyp Receding

Hey everyone,

I recently glued my Green Star Polyp to the back wall of my tank. I put it towards the middle and not too far down in the tank but not too tall. As I glued it to the back wall, it receded. Which is normal. The thing is, It hasn’t come out since i glued it. It’s been two days and all my levels are normal in my tank. I do have 2 clown fish in there and one of them is kind of aggressive. She always attacks my hand when I put my hand in the water. I don’t know if she is maybe attacking it?

It may be just stressed. GSP can stay closed for a week. It will open up and next thing you know it can start growing like weed.

Make sure there isn’t algae irritating the polyps. I just had an issue after glueing my gsp on the back wall and noticed some algae build up. I took a Pipette and blew all the junk off and they eventually opened up again. It also could be a little stressed too, give it some time. GSP is pretty tough!
