California Reef Co Chalice Grow-out Contest

Alright BAR you asked for a chalice grow-out and we are delivering! This contest is a friendly competition to see whose tank and husbandry techniques can grow corals the fastest. The TWO people with the most growth at the end of the contest will win a prize. Let's rock and roll!:D

  • Name: Tangerine Dreams
  • Colors:
    • Orange Flesh with Teal Streaks
    • Red Eyes
  • Origin: California Reef Co.

OK How do I join the Contest?
  1. Post in this thread if you want to be in the contest
  2. If we have more than 15 people interested, we will choose the participants using a random number generator.
  3. On January 3rd I will start picking the people and accepting payment
  4. Cost= 15$ per Frag for Supporting Members
  5. Cost= 20$ per Frag for Non-Members
  6. Most frags are 1 Polyp. Some are 2 Polyps.
    • They will be given out at RANDOM.
Help Us Buy a Club Frag Tank- Fundraiser
  • Money generated from this contest will be used to purchase a Club Frag Tank which we will use to hold raffle prizes/silent auction corals/fundraiser corals at our club events.

How does this Contest Work?
  1. Talk to me about picking up your frag.
    • I can meet you in San Mateo or Fremont.
  2. Post a picture of your frag ONCE a month or else you are disqualified.
    • Everyone gets 1 Cheat Month where they can miss a picture submission.
  3. In 12 months, the two people with the most number of NEW GROWTH eyes/polyps are the winners.

  1. A 50$ Gift Card to any of BAR's Local Fish Store Sponsor (You choose which one).

  • If you don't post a picture of the frag at least once a month, you are disqualified.
    • Everyone gets 1 Cheat Month
  • I reserve the right to change these rules if needed.

On January 10th we will pick the participants and start accepting Payment. I will post that information when the time comes.

Payment method is via paypal or in person. All of the money generated from this contest will be going to your club.
