Well this stinks. I received my frag on the 2nd and went on a mission the 3rd. Not ideal and I sure didn't plan it that way. Came back the 10th after being delayed and found my frag upside down on the sand bed, the sitter didn't notice it fall. I hate my snaildozers.

1-month update:

coral has encrusted pretty well and also killed the coral below it, didn't know chalice has long sweepers.
I think there are 3 new eyes/mouths. should I leave it like this or get a bigger tile?

That's some good growth. I'd leave it on that plug.

Where do you have it placed? kinda curios your tank chemistry an position for chalices

I had it the lower 1/3 part on rock and then moved to sandbed, I guess all-for-reef did a good job keeping the water chemistry stable.

Looks like it encrusted around the plug and is slowing down its growth while it decides what to do next. Now I see why most of you guys used big tiles
