Hand feeding pellets to coral?

I've been hand feeding defrosted mysis to a Lobophylia I picked up at the frag trade, but I'm wondering .. can I just drop some pellet food (pellet fish food) onto it? And in that case, maybe just squirt small pellets at LPS?

The pellets are convenient in that ... they are pellets and sink, versus mysis that float away.

Or should I get some coral specific pellets?

Thinking also of making homemade fish paste goo and squirting them onto the LPS.

Some will take it ...some will spit it out. Just gotta try it out and remove the uneaten stuff before it pollutes your tank.

Yes -- you can just drop pellets on it. I do all the time. I have coral specific pellets as well, but they don't seem to care which I use as long as they are not huge.

I feed pellets to my dendros. Growing fast!

I mix LPS grow and color pellet with reef roid and feed my coral sometime. But they seems to catch frozen food more readily
