So I did my taxes... found out I'm getting nearly $5000 back from fed/state combined! WOO! I told my wife it was advantageous to get married before the 1st :D

So a few days ago I get hit with a cough... then a cough and a hack... then a cough, hack, and stuffy nose... BAH! I had one of these already this year I should be good... ok so I'm going to work tonight to infect my students... well I'll try not to, but 1 night a week class I can't exactly cancel.

Oh yeah heater...
I feed my fish... water feels unusually cold... look at the controller... 67.8°F ahhh that'd be why it feels cold.... feck! Grab the 500w titanium heater, doesn't even feel the slightest warm... my guess that series of cold snaps just made it work overly hard now it's toast (it'd be nice if it's the controller that's toast and not the heater, but I doubt I'd be that lucky). I think I'll swing by AC today to see if Chris has any decently priced heaters ... and if not... I'll just cough a few times without covering!

Neat thing about the graphing feature I can just about pinpoint when the heater went out :D

I have a bunch of extra heaters if you want them Mike. Probably ranging from 200-250W though not up to 500W but you could do multiples.

Yeah, I got a 200w in there I managed to scavenge, got the LFS priced heater too but it was one of those marineland stealth heaters, so I think I'm good for now. Raising ~200g of water is by no means a quick fix anyways. Fish seem happy, corals aren't dying on me, I'll be good I'm sure, and if not.. ehh who cares :D
