My name is Liem. We recently moved from San Diego to Fremont. I was finally able to set up my red sea max 170 and it's cycling now. I plan to have 3-5 fish and mainly softies and lps.

The reefing community/forum in San Diego was awesome and very helpful. I'm hoping to enjoy the same here as well.

I'll update this thread when I start adding the goodies.

Hope to meet some of you in the future.

Tank finished cycling so I did a 50% water change and added a pair of clowns from Aquatic Collections. CUC coming today to help with some brown algae. Going to do another 50% water this weekend to lower nitrates.

Probably wait a couple of weeks to add goby and shrimp pair.

Such a neat looking tank. From the pic it doesn't look like the Nitrates are too bad. There's not an excessive amount of algae for a new tank.
 
Added a flame angel and cleaner shrimp. Everyone seems to be getting along and eating well. CUC doing a great job too. Nitrates are around 10 ppm. Going to start with some GSP this weekend.

Looking good...you sure you want GSP? Doesn't look like you have a place for a GSP island. Might be hard to control if you put it on your main rock structure.

I have a variety of zoas, candy cane or Palau nephthea I can give you.

I have some isolated rocks in the back that's hard to see from the pictures. Thanks for the offer I may take you up on it when tank matures a little bit more.

I want to give a shout out to @coral4me. I went to pick up some GSP but ended taking home some other goodies as well.

Matt and Asia were so friendly and generous. Their tank is awesome, beautiful colors. Spent about an hour just talking and looking at the tank.

Thanks Matt and Asia for making a new member feel so welcomed.
