Location: Watsonville, CA (Travel around the Bay area REQD with company provided service vehicle)

Job Type: Shadowing Part-Time during training period, Provided company car and servicing accounts on your own.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Aquarium Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing aquariums, ensuring the health and well-being of aquatic life, and providing exceptional customer service. As well as coral propagation and farming, fish breeding, fish husbandry and sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance on freshwater and saltwater aquariums, including water changes, cleaning, and equipment checks.
  • Monitor and maintain water quality, including testing and adjusting chemical levels.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot aquarium equipment such as filters, pumps, and lighting.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on aquarium care and best practices.
  • Handle and care for a variety of aquatic species, ensuring their health and well-being.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and water quality parameters.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and service requests.
  • Educate clients on proper fish care, feeding, and maintenance techniques.
Requirements:

  • Previous experience in aquarium maintenance or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of freshwater and saltwater aquarium systems and species is preferred.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve issues with aquarium equipment and water quality.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry equipment and perform manual tasks.

Um... why not use the wheels that attach to the brute cans?
Cans on dolly make me nervous
;)
Those casters are 850lbs each also you can not see it in the photo, but the entire work tool box, (fresh water decorations) and misc materials fits on that lil buggy and has been in service since 2016 and multiple CFM shows. Tried and true. We do have the brute dolly too, which are awesome. Off site maintenance you have to use items that some time are multi purpose.
