How has everyone’s corals from the swap been doing?

For those of you who got a green toadstool from me, I glued a toothpick to the frag plug in order to keep it in position to attach itself. If it is protruding, feel free to cut off the exposed portion and the base of the toadstool will grow over it.

Got a picture of the mother by chance.

Sweet, what’s the estimate size of the crown? I ask because I have a neon green toadstool about 7 inches across and same high,. different growth pattern it's mushroom like shape except the crown is a flat disk doesn't cup up or down.
The trunk is about 2-3" diameter and the top is about 8" in diameter

I was lucky to get one of @archibaldsharper 's Cherry Bombs. Big thanks to @derek_SR for the assist! I only planned to get one or two coral since my tank is pretty much out of room so I'm very happy with this :D

Settling in nicely.

Regarding the Oregon Tort debate. I have a true Oregon Tort I got from a hardcore collector and put a frag into the recent swap. That frag I had next to a cali tort colony in my frag tank. The cali tort Igot from a friend's tank breakdown and he actually bought it as an oregon tort. While similar, the color is distinguishable when compared side by side.

Damn! That is what I thought. I had planned to make it to the swap, but my wife pulled a swap on me and I couldn't make it. Would love to get some at some point.
I had 2 bunches in my cup, you can have one if you like! Though it is on the small side

It is up to you. Don't want you end up being short changed. No rush, but you are definitely more geographically desirable...hahaha.
Just a couple stone throws away! I’m gonna give it a few more days/week and see if I can grow it out a bit more. I’m not convinced my light is strong enough, though I am feeding a bit heavy and nutrients seem to be pretty stable

If you're closer to me just pass by I'll hand you a blob.

It's just really pretty chaeto, plus tangs eat it happily

The Oregon is blue like no other coral. It also has a much different growth pattern than the cali tort.

If you have bryopsis, it would be nice if you would write it on the lid next time. I’m 2 for 2 with bryopsis outbreaks after swaps lol

With these preventable pests i just need to treat the frag differently is all

This isn’t meant to accuse, be ungrateful to, or to antagonize anybody, just a suggestion — and hopefully pests will be easier to label in future swaps if we end up making a standard fill-out label with a “pests:” space

I think the not-OG-Oregon tort that I have is a third tort species, not just Cali tort. I also have Cali tort, and it looks completely different.

[edit]- It’s also not Miyagi tort, I have that too, and also looks completely different
