From who? Bruce? Seems like people waste a lot of money with unions and the true Union ball valves putting them all over the place where it’s possible they might be needed. some day.
In reality you can almost always just cut into the pipe and add one in once you done what you needed to do just as easily as you could’ve in the first place. But then you only have it where you need it.
