Cali Kid Corals

ID this tiny snail please? And this Paly looking aggressive thing...

Easy one I'm sure, I'm guessing a Colonista going by Melev's site, really want to be sure it is not a sundial.

Sorry for the fuzzy pictures:

Ton's of them in my sump.

*** EDIT ***

Rather than make a whole 'nother thread, can anyone ID this paly/zoa type thing?

I hand fed it a few pellets last night, the arms literally wrapped around the food like a curling snake, it then layed all of its tentacles limp and extended it's mouth out about 5-10mm and swelled up. After that it slowly ate all the food. Trying to figure out what the hell it is. It closes up like a zoa in a ball when disturbed.

collonista - harmless but numbers can get large...and they love to clog overflow teeth, pump screens, etc.

Good pic BTW :)

I had those snails in my 14g. There were hundreds if not thousands of them! They were babies of my pyramid snails...

So you assumed, but incorrectly. They are indeed what I said they are. Read the article, get informed and never assume anything ;)
