ideas how to reduce flow on mjmod?

So I have an MJ-Mod from algaefree? (I think?) in my 4' tank. Any ideas how to go about reducing the flow on it? It's running on an mj400 already.... Would it be a bad thing to cover up some of the opening in the front? Maybe.....1/2 of it?

Search through online hobby shops for companies such as Dumas. They make the props used for many of the MJ mods. You can get a multitude of props in different pitches and diameters. The plastic props are relatively cheap.

Doesn't the kit come with two prop? One small and one big one..
Why do you want to reduce it anyway?? Just point it a little upward and that should help..

Yeah Phong, came with 2, but the smallest is still too large for my use. And pointing it towards the surface won't help much. I have a really nice gyre going in the tank so I just need some of the flow to keep it going. Especially since there's a lot of open space in it. I ended up just trimming a little less than .25" off the edges of both sides. Seems to have worked, but I'm not sure if it increased noise or not.

Eh, might end up trading it, but who knows. It works for now. And it wasn't a recent purchase, just the first chance I had since purchasing to actually put it into good use.
