I'm a bad reefer :(

Lately I seem to have lost a few frags here & there.....not due to bad parameters or parasites.....but something more elusive....its probably a combinaton of several factors. laziness + too many frags to remember + tunze pumps = MIA frags (

Frustating as it is , I thought I would just vent a little. Seems that I now come to realize that some of my frags are missing off of some frag racks. I recall thinking to myself " maybe I should raise the rack or lower the pump " after cleaning my pumps about a month ago (noticed more flow after the vinager baths ) ..........Ahhh , I'll do it later , plenty of time. Well last night after staring at my tank i started wondering where certain frags had gone ( no longer on racks ) , and then it hit me.....They've probably been missing for 5-6 weeks now |(

Sometimes I feel like just starting over with a fish only tank........Goldfish that is :glasses:

I'm with ya Serg. I have been working on a new (to me) tank and kinda neglecting the old one. (New is still empty). I have anemonies in my old that gotta go to the new sump or refugium when ready. They are killing some nice frags.

Sergio, welcome to the world of overwhelmed reefers , you loose corals, some may not have amazing color, get over it. Whatever you're doing it is the right thing, you can't be at all places all of the time.

I have DBTC items that hve perished, some that have flourished, "way she goes" as Ray from TPB says . Now go out there and kick my DBTC karma points azz

It is just that time of the year. Some of mine are going as well for no particular reason. Hopefully you will make it up in August.

Don't forget, you just gave alot of DBTC. If you need valida, LMK. LOL.

yep , I know, I know , keep growing out the sps........I just hate loosing any frags...Especially the colorful ones....Hell the brown uglies ones never die at all (lol)

Weird how things go in cycles.....all of a sudden some corals die but others flourish. I don't think I'll be picking anything at the swap (I always say that and then the side trades begin )...definitely bringing frags galore .
