I was going to put this in my power outage warning thread, but figure it deserves a top post. Just had my power out from the storm. I got everything moved over to plug into my backup power supply (electric car with vehicle to load) and was impressed with how well everything worked. Then a bit later my power came back on.
I went back under my sump to flip things I'd turned off back on, and I noticed my Inkbird was saying 24.8°C / 0°C. I thought that was weird, must be a display issue.
I pull open the app and nope, it's the Inkbird reset the temperature target to 0°C and was in cooling mode.
I'm very unimpressed with this thing. ITC-308-WIFI. Bad news. Doesn't hold temp properly. Keeps screwing up the settings depending on what you do in the app. Now would've nuked my tank due to some power cycling.
I thought it'd be more reliable than my reef pi controller, but it seems worse. I might go back to the reef pi and ditch this thing.
