Holy shit - thats predatory! Are these the ones that have palytoxins? They look similar to what Julian Sprung was referring to in his talk at MACNA.

I'm pretty sure this is what always happens with "zoa gardens." it sucks, because when they are like your before pic, they look great. But one always takes over.

Not long at all. That before pic was in March and by May I had to pull the rock and clear the jerks off completely. I guess I left one or two because they came back with vengeance

I checked when I got home last night and I'm pretty sure I have the same zoas. I glued 4 different frags on this rock at the same time, about 2 or 3 months ago. The Captain Jerks are definitely spreading more quickly than the others. I will have to break that rock up this weekend and rethink my plans.
