Pretty easy to eat too, not a ton of tiny bones when fried this way. Tastes like cod, not fishy at all.
I just watched a spearfishing video on them, they dont have any natural predators so arent scared, super easy to spear themI was just watching a thing about them saying they are an invasive species and that people need to figure out how to get more use out of them.
The sauce looks good!They were pretty damn tasty too!

@fishy408 it's a ponchartrain sauce, really tasty.
Untrue, we're Asian lolBtw. Thomas. We don’t eat our pets !!!
Sssshhhhhh…… The unspoken. LolUntrue, we're Asian lol
I really like puffers. I also like frogfish, though they are kind of boring lolI grew up in San Diego. The sad part is lion fish are what got me into the hobby. Every time we would go to Sea World I would spend a lot of time just staring at these guys in their display tanks. I was mesmerized by their color and fins, and how the stripes carried through their eyes. They are still awesome fish. They just don’t belong there.
Sometimes I toy with the idea of a fish only predator tank. I had one in college in the 90’s with several types of lion fish, various triggers, and puffers. Maybe I should bring that back?? My wife really wants a full size puffer…

ya think that's how lion fish view their prey...over rice with sauce on side??!!They were pretty damn tasty too!
