Kalk reactor back siphoning

I hooked my Kalk reactor to my Tunze osmolotor. But when the pump turns off the water back siphons to my ro container filling it with kalk water. How do i prevent this. Is there a john guest type check valve?

Rather than a check valve, if it's possible to reposition your reactor and resevoir to prevent the backsiphoning in the first place you'd probably be better off. I generally don't t trust check valves and certainly not ones immersed in kalk.

Ditto what Jason said. Don't use a check valve with Kalk. bad idea. That being said I use a check valve on the input to my reactor as a secodary measure. The pump that I use acts like it's own check valve. I pump from my basement.

I was thinking of adding the check valve to the input. I tried positioning my ro resovoir to prevent siphoning. But seems i either get back siphoning to my ro supply, or to much kalk in the sump. The problem with the osmolotor pump is that is sits at the lowest point of the resovoir. You can't mount the pump in line or situate it in any other position. I'll probably have to run the osm. just for top off and put the kalk on a peri. pump. I guess the sooner i set my calcium reactor up, i won't need the kalk anymore.
