Living rooom 140- new livestock pics

I got a great deal on a 140 (48x24x24) Oceanic Tank with dual overflows & a 35 gallon Ruby Trigger Sump. I came complete with everything including a full Apex WITH display (which I’m happy to lend out out to supporting members.. usual rules apply).

Added a live sand bed, and some of the rock with Xenia along with all the live rock from the 100. Was able to get approx 70 gallons of the water recovered from the 100 and sump. Euroreef 204 skimmer. (Forgot to check on the return pump).

Have been monitoring ammonia twice a day and have had 2 slight spikes never .05 (salifert) & Seachem Alert badge. Nitrites are at 0 as well. I’ll continue to monitor daily. Yeah I have a 240 plexi tank sitting in the garage waiting to be buffed out. Already enclosed the old closet and cut away part of the wall. I am hoping that sill be a trigger/predator tank, need to do more research on what I can add.

The drip acclimation system. I use this system for everything I add to the tank.

My routine: Fill specimen box with livestock and their water. Slow drip 4 drops per second for 60 minutes, removing half of the accumulated water around 30 minutes in.

Received some amazing pieces from @MolaMola today and got a chance to check out her classroom. All I can say is WOW!!! So cool what she’s doing and a shout-out to all who are supporting her efforts. Our kids are lucky to have her in this district!
