Looks like I need new lights ...

If money is not a big issue, definitely go with more.
You get the obvious coverage win, but you also reduce any leftover disco effect.
It reduces shimmer a bit also. (good/bad depending on how you like that)
You can always put a bigger fan on the heat sink.

My tank is 88x26, and I have 12 AI-Primes, which are pretty similar. I was thinking of using 11 Lumias.

Which heat sinks are you using?
 
I have 3 6x20 heatsinks that I got from rapidly a few years back, they come with an acrylic shield. I'll be installing 2 120mm fans per each heatsink.

I'll get 9, I can always dim them down.
 
Started building my new lights. So far I took apart the old lights and cleaned the heat sinks. Rearranged the layout and got the fans setup. Didn’t receive the Lumias yet so more to come soon.
