Macro Algae

Don't know what type of algae this is, but it's growing well in our Nano. Can anyone identify it? Does anyone want some? We have 2 or 3 bunches to give away.

Looks like Halimedia (sp) a carbonate hog, I'm always tweezering it off rocks. If you plant it in sand it will root and remain in place.

Yeap. When it's dead - it looks like a dead sps, white skeleton. I figured it must consume a lot of calcium.
I have chaeto and some grapevine macros in the fuge now.

[/quote]I have it in my tank, it grew from dried rock that was cooked after the drying process. It qualifies as very tough stuff.
