Gresham-How long can you store the macro feast and can i purchase larger qty. ?

We only offer one size (at this time). With light 24/7 (lower light - 10 - 12 par) they can live in the bottle for about a month on their reserves (less reserves + less palatable to fish). If fed nutrients they'll do event better. FWIW the water in the bottle is nutrient free.

My lil rabbitfish will eat half a bottle in a day if I let him. he just sits there and munches away until it's gone :D

I've been happy with all the reefnutrition foods for my tank. I've always had great success with arctipods, macro feast, and rotifeast. Since you said the Macro feast needs high nutrient and 24 hour lighting I was thinking of setting up a 10g just for this. Any thoughts on what requirements such a set up would need?

Hey Gresh, what about temperature? I have a 37g tall tank that is currently housing 7 mangrove plants, 24/7 crappy lights. Water is cold/room temp water-change water.
Might be interesting to grow some macros for my tang, since I have the tank set up already anyway. Adding nutrients to the water is no problem as it's for plants only.

G. pacifica grows off our coast and down into Mexico so it can take a wide range of temps. If you want to grow it, it needs a fair amount of light, like what a non SPS tank would want, up to MH. We use 1K watt MH on 100) tanks. It does need to tumble though as it needs light on all sides (more tumbling with less light).
