These are large heavy boulders- I would estimate you would want to have a larger tank for these to be useful to you at least 60 gallons plus.
Some marco rock can be broken down, I've done it myself in the past. These however are very dense and short of a saw, big hammer and patience I doubt attempting that with these would go very well.
They are pretty clean from what I can tell but most likely previously used at some point so a good rinse and time curing couldn't hurt anything.
The Only conditions I have are:
1.) Only take them if you can actually use some.
2.)Pay if foward what you don't use.
