So I ended up doing a thing I may or may not regret later on… a third tank!

Aquarium: Fiji Cube 76 Shallow INT
Stand: Fiji Cube
Sump: Fiji Cube Fiji-30 PRO Advanced Reef Sump
Lighting: Two Nicrew HyperReef LED 150W
Return Pump: TBD
Protein Skimmer: TBD
Heaters: TBD
Powerheads: TBD
ATO: TBD
Doser: TBD
Controller: Hydros?
Rock Scape: Reef Rock Oasis
Salt: Instant Ocean Reef Crystals

I picked this up a few weeks ago but just getting around to it. It’s just been sitting empty in my living room since. The guy I got it from had it for only 7 months but is moving to the East Coast for work so ended up selling it. I was eyeing it for a good while but wasn’t convinced and then he came down to $300 for the tank, stand, sump, and automatic filter roller since he was down to his last couple weeks before the big move. At that point I had to buy it.

I hit up Michael at Reef Rock Oasis and he was able to whip something up for me. He really came through and was able to drop it off at another members home who also ordered from him. He was up here delivering scapes to Aquarium Depot near Sacramento.

This build will probably happen pretty slow. I’m pulling the lights that are currently on my 45 Frag since I’m upgrading those HyperReef to the 2nd Gen to match the lights in the 90 Shallow. I have a spare ATO, Eheim Jager heaters, Jebao DCP Return Pump that could work for this tank but not sure if I’ll use those yet.

These tanks don’t come plumbed and the person who owned this tank previously wasn’t the best at plumbing from scratch so I’ll have to redo the plumbing. Which is my least favorite part lol. Haven’t done an INT plumbing setup before though. I gotta fix those door hinges as well that are bothering me because they’re not spaced evenly!

I'm still getting caught up on your current build! PG&E going to LOVE you! Lol..

While plumbing on the EXT version was easy, getting the overflow box to seal properly was a PITA. Glad you went with the INT, although it takes up some space..one less thing you have to worry about leaking.

Is this.....maybe....a.....budget build????

Haha no :( I’d be at $300/$500 and even adding the basics lighting, heaters, flow and the rockscape I couldn’t do it with $200. At least not good. Heck the rock scape took up the entire budget lol.
