Mobile Ceiling Fan

My mom lives in a mobile home and wants a ceiling fan. Does anyone have experience with this? How much weight will those ceilings hold? There is a chandileer there now.

Usually a ceiling fan that requires additional support to sustain its weight outside the minimum building standards will say so on the box when you buy it. Unless your going for something big and fancy you should be fine. Moble home ceilings are studded with 2x4's and the mount boxes are anchored to handle standard weight.
