where are you getting glass then?

@PjFish I went to a local glass store in Burlingame and this is what they quoted. By the way this is for my lowboy. I’ll be redefining the measurement to 15 5/16 x 23.

I just asked for clearest white glass they had with sanded edges.. You don’t need polished edges.. Think my panels were around 30 a piece but not tempered.. I did add small pieces of blue painters tape on the corners so panels slide easier so not glass on glass since there is a bit of salt creep at times from splashes..

I noticed @Coral reefer used glass panels on his tank in Pacifica a while back and liked it! They have some weight and need to be dried and put on a towel when I pop them off so their not so slippery otherwise I really like them.. I was going to order large twin wall polycarbonate panel and cut my own panels for the better light transmission and diffusion properties but chose glass instead..
Just make sure their is NO UV coating on the glass .. Same with polycarbonate no UV coating which was a bit hard to source had to order direct from manufacturer to be sure no coating..
The UV coating just makes the panels last longer for greenhouse purposes and or protection from the reys like on our glass windows and doors..

@PjFish I was looking at the twin wall polycarbonate at both Home Depot and Tap Plastics both mention UV blocking.
