I have a tiny turbinaria heronenses frag that is taking on a mottled appearance. I haven't changed lighting or the position of the frag in weeks. I came up short googling, so before guessing and moving it, I thought I'd ask if someone else might have any ideas about what I should try.
Other corals in the tank appear fine. Maybe this is ok, but It was solid green for months. I haven't had a ton of luck finding information on turbinaria.
It does extend polyps at night, but not very far.
The frag is getting 8 hours of somewhere between 100-150par.
Current tank parameters: 78.9f, 35ppt salinity, 0 nitrates, Phosphate 0.07, 7.8 dKH, 460 Ca, 1360 Mg, 8.04ph.
I've thinned out the Ulva in my refugium to try and bring the nitrates up a bit.
